Cox's Bazar is Located at a distance of 152 km. south of Chittagong, the leading seaport of angladesh. Cox's Bazar is connected both by air and road from Dhaka and Chittagong. Non-Stop flights are available from dhaka   and Chitogong on United Airlines, GMG Airways, Bangladesh Airlines. Flights tend to be daily during the high season (Oct - Apr).
The main bus terminal is a few kilometers east of the central town area, about a 15 minute / Tk 10 rickshaw ride. Local buses head to  and  .The private bus companies have offices near Hotel Sea Queen on the main road.

Delightful sea-food ,colorful pagodas, surfing waves, towering cliffs, miles of golden sands, rare conch shells, Buddhist temples and tribes -this is Cox's Bazar, the tourism city of Bangladesh. Having the world's longest an unbroken (120 kilometers.) sandy beach sloping gently down to the blue waters of the Bay of Bengal, Cox's Bazar is the most attractive tourist sport in the country. There are also a few very old wooden Buddhist temples at Ramu, a few kilometers from Cox's Bazar.
 Other attractions for visitors are conch shell market, tribal handicraft, salt and prawn cultivation.

Inani Beach: Another famous beach - is about 32 km south of Cox's Bazar and just on the beach, with the sea to the west and a background of steep hills to the east. Inani is a magic spell on those who step into that dreamland. It is not so far only half an hour's drive from Cox's Bazar and an ideal place for sea-bathing and a picnic.
Himchari: It is about 32 km south of Cox's Bazar, a beautiful place for a picnic and photo-shooting. Himchari famous for Broken Hills, waterfalls and sandy beach.

Ramu: This is a famous typical Buddhist village, about 16 km from Cox's Bazar, on the main road to Chittagong. There are khyangs, monasteries and pagodas containing images of Buddha in bronze, gold and other metals inlaid with precious stones.

Moheskhali: Another island off the coast of Cox's Bazar. It has 268 square kilometers area. It is famous for mangrove jungle, Adinath Mondir dedicated to Shiva. Buddhist Pagoda On hill.

Teknaf: It is a fort city. Teknaf is southernmost tip of Bangladesh, is situated on the Naaf river and just at the end of the hilly regions of the district. Myanmar is on the opposite bank of Naaf river. Wild animals and birds are available here but the most interesting thing is a journey on the river. Wide sandy beach in the backdrop of high hills with green forests is an enchanting scene .

Sonadia Island:  It is about eight kilometers from Cox's Bazaar and about ten square kilometer in area. The western side of this island is sandy and different kinds of shells are found on the beach. It is famous for bird and dry fish.

There are lots of Hotel, Motel, Guest house, Honeymoon Cottage and Resort are available here.Every year lots of tourist come here to spend their leisure in Cox’s Bazaar. Cox's Bazar sea beach is crowded almost the year. Especially in winter season, it is hard to get an accommodation in the hotels.

If you are really adventurous and want to enjoy the wildness of the ruff and tuff Sea you can come to Cox's bazar in the month of mid April, Sea continue its wildness till August; and its even more exotic if you come to Cox's Bazar in the time of depression of the Sea.
