Cox's Bazar is Located at a distance of 152 km. south of Chittagong, the leading seaport of angladesh. Cox's Bazar is connected both by air and road from Dhaka and Chittagong. Kuakata is located in Latachapli union under Kalapara thana of Patuakhali district is about 31 km in length and 7 km in breadth. It is 71 km from Patuakhali district headquarters and 321 km from Dhaka. It has a wide sandy beach from where one can see both the sunrise and sunset everyday.
